This division was founded as a department specialising in the surface treatment of metals. The experience accumulated over the years, combined with the continuous technical and quality growth of the processes, has allowed Alphasar to become a consolidated reality in the metal cleaning and finishing sector and to satisfy even the most articulated requests.
Currently, the workings we carry out with the automation of our processes range from deburring, grinding, polishing and sandblasting of metals, to the cleaning of hydraulic passages of centrifugal pumps, so as to always guarantee maximum compliance of the various technical characteristics of the surfaces treated
The variety of techniques used and equipment employed enables us to offer a range of services to meet any processing requirement:

• BUFFING - Elimination of all imperfections on the edges of metal parts that are formed once the metal has been machined.
• GRINDING - In this phase the workpiece is worked with accuracy by the operator, initially using abrasive discs with coarse grits and gradually finer and finer until the desired level of polishing is achieved.
• HYDRAULIC CLEANING - Elimination of residues of resin and/or ceramic cores of different sizes. At this stage it is also possible to perform internal/external surface restoration operations by welding.
• SANDBLASTING - The sandblasting of metals is a preparatory operation to painting or to any application of a protective layer on the surface of the metal: with this technique all possible causes of damage or low performance, such as rust or some imperfections in the workmanship, are eliminated.
